Performing experience of over 20 years. After the arangetram recital in 1987, Aparna perused advance training in Bharata Natyam under her Guru's tutelage. A successful teacher in India, Aparna has had 7 students perform their Arangetram in India.
A member of 'Kalavardhini', a dance school started by her Guru.

Lesson Details

In classical dance the student has to first learn the Adavu's or the basic steps. There are 14 group of steps to be learnt before we proceed to any conpositions. Along with the Adaus's, the student is also taught the theory like to name a few hasta mudra
Would require wide-angle lens and high resolution webcam. Students definately need to have either salwar/leggings with along a dupatta.
