Lesson Policies
The following policies are part of the WorldMusicGuru Terms of Agreement, and provided separately for your convenience. Please read them carefully so that you understand how to pay for, reschedule, or cancel a lesson.
- Lesson payments are due in advance of all lessons. Students on a monthly subscription payment option will see transaction charges on their Payment Method (eCheck or credit card) at the end of each month, for the following month’s lessons.

- Lesson subscriptions may be terminated in any month before your Payment Method has been billed. Notify WorldMusicGuru through the Customer Service link (email, Skype message, phone, or fax)

- Subscription lessons must be taken within the month for which payment is made, unless otherwise arranged between Student and Guru. WorldMusicGuru does not track lessons and is not responsible for missed lessons.

- No refund will be provided for missed classes due to student cancellation or absence. Refunds will be considered at the sole discretion of WorldMusicGuru, only in the case of demonstrated inability of Guru to meet his/her obligations to Student, or other extenuating circumstances.

- Cancellations require 24-hour notice by student in order to be eligible for make-up lesson. One of the following methods MUST be used in order to qualify for a make-up lesson.
1. Reschedule lesson on Guru’s Google Calendar (through Student’s Google calendar). 2. Phone call to Guru. 3. Email to Guru, with copy to

Other notification methods, including WorldMusicGuru.com message facility, Skype message, etc. are not timely delivery mechanisms and do not constitute proper notice of lesson cancellation.

- Cancelled classes (either by Guru or by student with 24-hour notice) must be rescheduled within 30 days after expiration of lesson). Make-up lessons after 30 days are allowed only at the discretion of the guru.

- Gurus may occasionally arrange for substitute teachers at their discretion. WorldMusicGuru discourages frequent use of substitute teachers.
