About bansuri
The bamboo flute, or bansuri, has found popularity in both north Indian (Hindustani) and south Indian (Carnatic) musical systems. Each flute is hand-crafted (like most Indian instruments) and the flutes are available in a wide variety of pitch ranges. The natural bamboo gives the bansuri a warmer, more evocative tone than the typical western flute or piccolo.

Equipment you need
