Getting Started for Gurus

Once you have registered as a guru, please complete ALL of the following steps to start offering lessons on the site (all links and profiles appear in the User Menu).

  1. Complete your guru profile - your online advertisement, which is indexed on Google and other search engines. After logging in, click My Profile (in User Menu), and select Edit/Update Your Profile.

The next two steps will require that you have been confirmed as a guru by our administrator, so that you can access the required forms. This can take up to two business days. You can contact Customer Service if you would like to have this done immediately.

  1. Submit the Lesson Add/Update form to WorldMusicGuru to post your lessons to the online catalog. Without this step, students cannot purchase your lessons, so don't delay!
  2. Submit the Guru Payment form, so that WorldMusicGuru knows how to pay you (or your bank account).
  3. Advertise your lessons! Your profile page will have a simple URL link: www.worldmusicguru.com/yourusername, which you can email to others, place on your web site, on your YouTube channel description, anywhere your friends, colleagues, and fans of your music will find it.
