My primary goal is to ensure that a student cultivates a creative mind and the ability to understand the workings of a raga analytically, while also emphasising fluent technique. Lessons are structured to meet individual needs of each student.
Some theoretical insights are necessary to understand how Raga works. I recommend some specific sources for extra reading and give e-handouts with every lesson, along with mp3 recordings of the old masters.
Minimum age requirement for online lessons is 10 years. Parental supervision required for students under 16. A class typically lasts for over an hour, but can run longer for more mature and interested students.
